Gymnastics & Tumbling

Altimate Air offers gymnastics and tumbling classes for all ages and abilities. Our professional tumble track is great for those that want to learn basic tumbling skills, to the competitive gymnasts that wanting to practice their advanced routines. Altimate Air employs a full time instructor.  We offer group lessons as well as private lessons for those who would like one on one instruction.


The tumbling track is open to the general public during times when no classes are being conducted. This will give individuals an opportunity to get some extra practice and improve skill levels. You will need to be certified by our instructor, to use this area of the park on your own. We will also offer monthly memberships and group rentals. Separate admission will be required to use the tumbling track area.

Class Descriptions

Gymtots Class (ages 6 & under)
  • Mondays: 2:00pm until 2:45pm

  • Thursdays: 2:00pm until 3:45pm

 

A program of developmental movement and sensory motor skills, designed to help children under the age of 6 years old to reach his or her physical, mental and emotional potential. Parents will enjoy interacting with their child while concentrating on motor skills, eye, hand, and foot coordination, strength, and flexibility. This 45 minute, eight week program will include parent participation. Two classes, per age group, will be offered per week.

Beginner Class (ages 6 & up)
  • Mondays: 4:00pm until 6:00pm

  • Tuesdays: 7:00pm until 8:00pm

  • Thursdays: 5:00pm until 6:00pm

 

This program introduces children to basic gymnastics skills, aerobics, body awareness, motor skills, and rhythms. A variety of equipment is used in a safe environment to provide your child with an outlet of expression, creativity, and discovery. This 1 hour, 8 week program will be offered twice a week.

Intermediate Class (ages 6 & up)
  • Tuesdays: 5:00pm until 6:00pm

  • Wednesdays: 5:00pm until 6:00pm

  • Thursdays: 7:00pm until 8:00pm

 

This program is for children who have mastered basic gymnastics skills and motor skills. This class includes work on beginning floor basics through advanced skills. Each student will be able to improve tumbling skills such as back and front handsprings, front and back flips, round-off back springs. These rigorous classes require upper body strength and leg and back flexibility.

Advanced Class (ages 6 & up)
  • Monday: 6:00pm until 7:30pm

  • Wednesdays: 6:00pm until 7:30pm

  • Thursdays: 3:30pm until 5:00pm

 

The Advanced class is our most challenging tumbling class and is available only to students who can already perform a round off back handspring, with little or no spot. Students will train skill sequences like round off back handspring, back layouts, aerials, and front handspring punch fronts. Students will also be introduced to front and back twisting and multi-directional tumbling.

Flexibility & Strength
  • Tuesdays: 4:00pm until 5:00pm

  • Saturdays: 3:00pm until 4:00pm

 

Adult Flexibility & Strength Class

  • Tuesdays: 2:00pm until 3:00pm

  • Saturdays: 2:00pm until 3:00pm

 

This program is for any individual to increase range of motion, decrease your risk of injury, reduced muscle soreness, and to improve athletic performance. Flexibility training helps improve the range of motion of your joints and muscles. When your muscles are flexible, you are less likely to become injured during physical activity. Flexibility training can help reduce muscle soreness post-workout. Stretching after you exercise keeps your muscles loose and relaxed. When your joints and muscles are flexible, you use less energy while in motion, which improves your overall performance.

Pricing

 

Organized Classes

  • All organized tumbling classes are priced at $150.00. This includes an eight week session with two classes per week.
  • All organized flexibility classes are priced at.
 

Individual Rate

  • $10.00 per hour, per person during open gymnastics/tumbling hours
 

Group Rate

  • $75.00 per hour, for a maximum of 10 tumblers. $7.00 for each additional tumbler.
 

Monthly Memberships for Groups

  • $250.00 per month/ for a total of four hours monthly, with a maximum of 10 tumblers. $6.00 per hour, for additional tumblers. (Gymnastic/Cheerleading Teams)
  • $475.00 per month/for a total of eight hours monthly, with a maximum of 10 tumblers. $6.00 per hour, for additional tumblers. (Gymnastics/Cheerleading Teams)
 
Monthly Membership for the Individual
$56.00 per month/for a total of eight hours monthly. (Individual Membership)

Tumble Track Certification

In order to be able to use the tumble track without supervision, each tumbler must be able to do the following. Please contact a manager for certification times.
